The MOD Squad rules for Fall 2011

At least according to Harper’s Bazaar…

“Spring may have been more ‘70s than a conversation pit, but this season designers looked to the ‘60s, specifically the decade’s Mod styles. The era’s hallmarks, from Peter Pan collars to patent shifts and double-breasted peacoats, all made an appearance.”

Resort 2010 – Ahoy is that new fresh trends I see?

We like the feel of the 2010 Resort vibe…

Examiner.com liked it too and had this to say!

“With bright coral, sunny yellow and bold teal, Adam Lippes Resort 2010 collection is colorful.  This year’s summer pieces are slouchy in all the right places, giving the entire line a collective effortless vibe.  He has created a modern take on the nautical look with braided cord and colors found close to the coast.

Thakoon Panichgul for Thakoon was certainly dreaming of somewhere sunny with his designs.  His dressy looks were filled with detailed twisting, knotting and draping.  The entire collection was playful and fun.”

Fall Fashion Trends 2009

Looks like 2009 is gearing up to be pretty rough and tumble…but interesting never the less

“Lace, leather and denim are the staples for this fall’s fashion wardrobe. Look for denim leggings and Ponte pants, top them off with a stylish boyfriend blazer or a trendy leather bomber, and you have a great look that transitions easily from work to evening.  Jumpsuits continue to be strong for fall, and dresses with lace accents, rouching or delicate details will carry right through into the holiday party season.”

“The runways for Fall 2009 display trends described as ‘bohemian luxury.’” This offers a great mix of unexpected earthy prints in newly sophisticated colors. Look for lots of rose, olive and blues on the palette.
